Felicity Jones is an British actress who is most well-known because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones began her acting career at age 12 and worked on various TV series, plays and movies. Her first job was as a television actress with The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in various other movies. Her acting gained her fame in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. Her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination for her first time. Jones received a lot of praise by critics and fans for her performance in the role of Hawking's first wife. The film was based on the life story of Stephen Hawking. The film was followed by Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Jones won her the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. The award was given for her extraordinary talents and her contribution to the cinema.
