Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie has been the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir, a Icelandic weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete as well as a popular TV personality. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Contests in 2017, and 2013. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. As a child Annie was an avid sport fan who loved exercising. She was awarded numerous medals during school competitions. In 2009 she competed as a participant in the very first CrossFit game in California. Her performance was good in those games. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 (as as of 2021). She is 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. Annie did very well in her first competition, and finished with the top 10. Unfortunately, she wasn't able achieve any title but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. When she competed in CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won the gold medal same year. Following that, she took part in her second CrossFit competitions and due to her dominant performance she won the competition and became the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. Annie has been the first woman to have won in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a coach and trainer of Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance The Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick, Yerbae as well as many other. Additionally, she also has her own Youtube channel with around thousands of subscribers. There, her training video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
